The most likely reason for receiving an Infringement Notice having used the service is that the incorrect license plate was entered upon parking; whether this be by selecting the wrong vehicle when multiple vehicles are stored against your account or accepting an invalid interpretation of your license plate using our speech recognition software.
Upon the interpretation being read to you by our automated telephone system, you are asked to speak 'Yes' or 'No' to confirm the license plate offered. This places the onus on the motorist to ensure that they do not accept the license plate read back and offered should you have any doubts over the interpretation being 100% accurate. Failure to do so will mean that you are liable to receiving an Infringement Notice.
Regrettably there are many different variances that can affect the quality of the recording beyond our control when using our speech recognition programme, i.e. background noise, wind interference, loss of mobile signal, similar sounding characteristics, etc.
Unfortunately the issuing enforcement operator and/or authority will not allow us to intervene with any aspect of the dispute process, as it is their strict policy that you contact them direct.
If you had definitely paid with Parkmobile at the time of issue you should supply a copy of your parking history and Tax Receipt as evidence of purchase to the issuing enforcement operator and/or authority. Your entire parking history is available from the 'Receipts' page of your on-line account.
In order to amend your license plate for any future use of the Parkmobile service and to avoid the same situation arising, you should update your stored vehicle details from the 'Vehicles' page of your on-line account or alternatively by using our mobile apps.
