What is the difference between Buy Time and Start/Stop locations?

The way in which you activate parking sessions with Parkmobile will differ depending on where you park.

    Buy Time

Buy Time locations will require you to enter the duration of your stay upfront and requires the three digit CV2 (security) code from your payment code to complete the transaction.

You are able to extend these sessions once activated should you have not already reached the maximum stay duration and you require more time than originally purchased.

    Start/Stop

Start/Stop locations require you to both activate your parking on arrival and then de-activate once you return to the vehicle and intend to leave.

By default you will be allocated the maximum stay at that location once the session has been activated so it is crucial that you remember to de-activate your parking at the correct time.  Failure to do so will mean that you will be charged the entire duration as per the maximum stay rule and fees accordingly.
